Hello!
I’m Daniel, a Geospatial Data Scientist currently helping to build an industry leading Market Intelligence capability at Deliveroo.
In my former role at The Business of Cities, I helped cities navigate the world of data and designed methods to measure the success, vibrancy and prosperity of Innovation Districts around the world.
Before that, I founded an e-commerce startup in my hometown of Nottingham which generated £1m revenue year-on-year. More recently, I interned at Google UK in Marketing Strategy and graduated from King’s College London in Geocomputation and Spatial Analysis.
Outside of data science I sing (exceptional at karaoke), make the best carrot cake in Nottingham / London, and am currently attempting to learn to draw urban spaces.
House of Data Visualisations
House of Data is my data-visualisation blog. I produce 2-3 visualisations each week on issues of politics, identity and inequality. HoD initially began as side-project analysing the Tweets of MPs during the 2019 General Election. Some visualisation have since attracted press coverage from the BBC.
